dc.description.abstracten	The objective of this work is to analyze the relationship between the notions of witness, community and rest in narratives about the search for origins in adoption and its implications for the field of social memory. It is qualitative research, based on bibliographical and documentary, which intersects three records. The first is the laws of adoption. The second is the testimony of adoptees about their attempts to find information or representatives of their family of origin. These testimonies are particularly analyzed based on documentaries 33 and Séparées, whose narratives develop around the search for the origins of the filmmakers themselves, placing emphasis on the themes of belonging, identity, and identification. This record is completed on the use of other films and literary narratives that also stages the adoption and its impasses. The third record is conceptual, based on thinkers such as Jean-Luc Nancy, Maurice Blanchot, Giorgio Agamben, and Maurice Halbwachs, who bring fundamental contributions to the analysis of the notions of community, belonging, and testimony. Jacques Lacan and Sigmund Freud are also important references in this work. The intersection of these records shows the adoptive experience complications, such as film Artificial Intelligence reveals. It allows us to think that in every establishment of ties of affiliation there is a remnant that comes back in the form of interrogation about the past, simultaneously calling for its construction and allowing the questioning of what is origin. This trace shows us different subjective positions that are expressed in the testimony and in their gaps. We have come to the conclusion that the testimony about the search for the origins restores the experience of subjective division, jeopardizing the judicial operation that defines the adopted person as segregated from their natural family. This is because the judicial operation of the adoption creates the place of the natural family as what is left over from the operation attempting to establish an affiliation tie. Thus, the testimony of the search for the origins points to the impossibility of the adoptive family’s immanence. The family is formed, effectively, in relation to something that is outside of it, and that is called natural family, history, past, memory, rest. In this line, we also find the means to propose a distinction between collective memory and social memory.	pt_BR

dc.description.abstractpt	O objetivo deste trabalho é o de analisar a articulação entre as noções de testemunho, comunidade e resto nas narrativas sobre a busca das origens na adoção e suas implicações para o campo da memória social. Trata-se de pesquisa qualitativa, pautada em levantamento bibliográfico e documental, que entrecruza três registros: o primeiro é o das legislações sobre a adoção. O segundo é o do testemunho de adotados sobre suas tentativas de encontrar informações ou representantes de sua família de origem. Esses testemunhos são analisados particularmente a partir dos documentários 33 e Séparées, cujas narrativas se desenvolvem em torno da busca das origens dos próprios cineastas, colocando em relevo os temas do pertencimento, da identidade e da identificação. Esse registro completa-se no uso de outros filmes e narrativas literárias que também encenam a adoção e seus impasses. O terceiro registro é conceitual, tomando por base pensadores como Giorgio Agamben, Jean-Luc Nancy, Maurice Blanchot e Maurice Halbwachs que trazem contribuições fundamentais para a análise das noções de comunidade, pertencimento e testemunho. Jacques Lacan e Sigmund Freud são igualmente referências importantes neste trabalho. O entrecruzamento desses registros evidencia intercorrências da experiência adotiva, tais como o filme Inteligência Artificial revela. Ele nos permite pensar que em toda constituição de laços de filiação há um resto que retorna sob a forma de interrogação sobre o passado, convocando, simultaneamente, sua construção e permitindo o questionamento sobre o que se entende por origem. Esse resto aponta-nos diferentes posições subjetivas que se expressam no testemunho e em suas lacunas. Concluise que o testemunho sobre a busca das origens restabelece a experiência de divisão subjetiva, colocando em xeque a operação judicial que define o adotado como segregado de sua família natural. Isso porque a operação judicial da adoção cria o lugar da família natural como resto da operação de estabelecimento do laço de filiação. Assim, o testemunho da busca das origens aponta para a impossibilidade da imanência da família adotiva. Ela só se constitui, efetivamente, em relação a algo que se situa fora dela, e que se denomina família natural, história, passado, memória, resto. Nessa linha, encontramos ainda os meios de propor uma distinção entre memória coletiva e memória social.	pt_BR
