dc.description.abstracten	This study, in a transdisciplinary way, sought to analyze the history and memory of Nova Holanda, a favela part of the Complexo da Maré, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The research was built from a bibliographical review, statistical data, documentary sources, and had as its main strategy, conducting interviews with residents who are part of the black population of this territory, through what I have been calling Cartography of Spaces-Time of Memory, where slum cosmographies are presented that take shape while we pay attention to intersectional differences between groups from the past, who participated in the associative movement of Nova Holanda in the 1980s and 1990s, and by groups of the present who dispute and reinvent the territory by crossing narratives that have been seeking to mediate the memory of the favelas, of Complexo da Maré (RJ), and that depart mainly from Nova Holanda in order to decolonize and racialize the references about their past. Based on this issue, we sought to understand the disputes around political memory and the use of memory as a constituent of the processes of (de)(re)territorialization of the favela based on discursive strategies that reconstitute its past of struggles and social achievements.	pt_BR

dc.description.abstractpt	O presente estudo buscou analisar, de forma transdisciplinar, a história e a memória da favela de Nova Holanda, no município do Rio de Janeiro. O trabalho foi construído a partir de revisão bibliográfica, dados estatísticos, fontes documentais, e teve como principal estratégia, a realização de entrevistas com moradores(as) que integram a população afrodescendente deste território, através do que venho chamando de Cartografia Espaço-Temporal da Memória, onde se apresentaram cosmografias que tomam forma ao passo que nos atentamos para diferenças interseccionais entre grupos do passado, que participaram do movimento associativista de Nova Holanda das décadas de 1980 e 1990, e entre grupos do presente que disputam e reinventam o território ao atravessar narrativas que vêm buscando agenciar a memória da Favela e do Complexo da Maré (RJ), e que partem, principalmente, de Nova Holanda no intuito de descolonizar e racializar as referências sobre o passado. A partir desta problemática, buscou-se entender as disputas em torno da Memória Política e o uso da Memória enquanto constituinte dos processos de (des)(re)territorialização da favela a partir de estratégias discursivas que reconstituem seu passado de lutas e conquistas sociais.	pt_BR
