dc.description.abstracten	This dissertation approaches research in Art Information related to the field of Museology, in the context of Museological Documentation, due to the relevance for the safeguarding of the cultural manifestation Dance, Classical Ballet, given the difficulties in museums to identify / interpret their intangible references, Intangible Cultural Heritage, not only due to the ephemeral aspect of the act of dancing, but, above all, for disregarding conceptually and in practice the "interdependence between" the "Intangible and Material Cultural Heritage" (UNESCO). Three museological institutions were analyzed according to Dance theory parameters: Smithsonian, Victoria & Albert Museum and Centro de Documentação da Fundação Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. The research verified that this form of museum heritage still lacks the application of specialized information/documentation covering characteristic aspects of Dance. It pointed out the need for the inclusion of specific indicators representing extrinsic data of contextual and documental order for the identification/cataloguing of Dance collections, as well as the elaboration of a Thesaurus to represent specific terms to the manifestation with the purpose of preserving and providing access to research on this symbolic form of Intangible Cultural Heritage.	pt_BR

dc.description.abstractpt	A dissertação aborda pesquisa em Informação em Arte relacionada ao campo do conhecimento da Museologia, contexto da Documentação Museológica, pela relevância para a salvaguarda da manifestação cultural Dança, Ballet Clássico, tendo em vista dificuldades nos Museus para identificar/interpretar suas referências intangíveis, categoria Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial, não só em razão do aspecto efêmero do ato de dançar, mas, sobretudo, por desconsiderar conceitualmente e na prática a “interdependência entre” o “Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial e Material” (UNESCO). Foram analisadas, segundo parâmetros da teoria da Dança, três instituições museológicas: Smithsonian Institution, Victoria & Albert Museum e Centro de Documentação da Fundação Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. A investigação verificou que esta modalidade de patrimônio musealizado ainda carece de aplicar a informação/documentação especializada abrangendo aspectos característicos da Dança. Apontou a necessidade da inclusão de indicadores específicos representativos dos dados extrínsecos de ordem contextual e documental para identificação/catalogação de acervos de Dança, bem como elaboração de um Thesaurus para representar termos próprios à manifestação com finalidade preservar de e dar acesso a pesquisas desta forma simbólica do Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial.	pt_BR
